In this module students will develop a greater understanding of matter, the characteristics of mixtures and solutions, acids and bases and are introduced to the different models of matter. Using a variety of "hands on" activities they are given opportunities to develop as scientists, learning scientific procedures, conducting experiments, recording observations and making inferences from the results they collect.
