This module focuses on a type of writing which students see everyday but probably have little experience creating themselves: this is the world of technical writing. In this module, students apply for (and get) a job as a technical writer for A-1 Electronics. They then create a number of different types of technical communication "on the job", such as a simple promotional brochure for a local shopping mall. The main assignment is the creation of a user manual for a product of their choice.
