Open school BC is expanding its scope and now offers online
training to BC public sector employees.
To purchase online training:

If you are in a Ministry or Government organization log on with your customer account number (as required by Ministry of Finance regulations and to avoid GST charges)

K-12 Resources
Over 3000 learning resources are described in Open School BC's Online Catalogue
for purchase through our Shopping Cart. Our learning resources include
comprehensive, IRP-based courses developed by Open School BC, as well as
resources to support these courses and supplementary educational support
products. Our learning resources are used by the BC education system as:

distance education courses
-
educational support materials for classroom and library use
-
support materials for alternative learning programs
In addition, our learning resources are available for purchase by the general
public as learning support materials.
If you are interested in obtaining academic course credit for
an Open School BC course, do not order your materials via the
Online Catalogue's Shopping Cart. Instead, see the section, Registration
and Credit for registration information.
To use the Online Catalogue, simply:

Select a course listing by broad Subject area, by Grade level or by the course
Name.

View the description of the content, course or resource.

Choose items you would like to purchase by adding them to the Shopping Cart.

Note that instructional guides, assignment marking keys, blank masters and
answer keys are available for most of our courses. These items can only be
ordered through Open School BC's Customer Service.
The pricing as listed in our Online Catalogue is for BC residents, unless
otherwise noted. If you are purchasing our products from outside British
Columbia, Canada, or for use internationally, please contact our Customer

Open School BC will provide a refund:

in full, less shipping costs, for goods returned within 30 days of the date
shipped.

less a 20% restocking fee after 30 days and up to 6 months of the date shipped. This policy applies to all products, courses materials and learning resources ordered through Open School BC.

in full, including shipping costs, if the publication is damaged when received.
Please note: returned goods must be in saleable condition in order to receive a
refund.

Registration and Credit[Top]
Students interested in taking Open School BC courses for academic credit should
contact their school or their regional
Distance Education School. The Distance Education Schools provide the
Open School BC course materials and student support, administer exams, grant
credit for courses completed and submit the final grades to the Ministry of
Education. For more information on how to access the Open School BC courses for
credit, contact the academic counselor at the school where you or your child is
registered or contact your regional Distance Education School.
