Chemistry 11 has four modules and a test for each module. The four main subject areas are:
Module 1: Basic Concepts and Skills
Module 2: The Periodic Table, Periodic Trends and Combining Elements
Module 3: The Mole, Chemical Reactions, Interpreting Equations, Solutions
Module 4: Organic Chemistry
Several lab activities are included. Students should only attempt to perform the labs if they have access to an appropriate lab facility including approved safety related equipment and protective gear. The ability to properly and safely dispose of waste chemicals is also critical. Supervision by qualified personnel is a must. Sample lab data is provided for those students who do not have access to an appropriate facility.
Chemistry 11 students require a scientific calculator in order to complete the course work.
