Pre-calculus 11 (PREC 11) was developed by the Alberta Distance Learning Centre.
PREC 11 meets all the learning outcomes of the BC Ministry of Educations IRP (WNCP 2008).
This course is designed to provide you with the mathematical understandings and critical-thinking skills identified for entry into post-secondary programs that require the study of theoretical calculus (from the WNCP Common Curriculum Framework for Grades 10-12 Mathematics). PREC 11 continues your work from previous math courses in the following areas: radicals, rational expressions and equations, trigonometry, polynomials, and systems of equations. You will also be introduced to absolute value, reciprocal functions, quadratic functions and equations, linear and quadratic inequalities, and arithmetic and geometric sequences and series.
