Introduction to Anti-Racism in Research

This course takes approximately 90 minutes to complete and is designed to provide you with information, strategies and tools to help you integrate the core principles and some of the best practices of anti-racism research.

During the course, you will become familiar with:

  • The goals and objectives of the Anti-Racism Data Act
  • Some principles of anti-racism and data justice
  • The basics of cultural safety, consideration of community harm, intersectionality, transparency and data accessibility
  • How to apply these concepts in your research practice

The course consists of four modules and a final quiz. Once you have completed all four modules, you will be required to earn a minimum of 80% on the final quiz to receive your certificate.
