BC Mines Supervisor Online Certification
This course is designed to certify Mines Supervisors in the Mines Act, Regulations, and the Health, Safety and Reclamation Code for Mines in British Columbia ("the Code"). Successful completion of the exam will certify you as a Mines Supervisor.
The exam assesses your knowledge in eight areas:
- Mining in BC
- Worker Health and Safety
- Worksite Safety
- Environmental Protection
- Public Safety
- Equipment and Machinery Requirements
- Using Certified Professionals
- Emergency Preparedness and Response
All information required to answer the exam questions may be found in the Code.
A searchable copy of the Code is available to you within the Mines Supervisor Online Certification and may be used during the open book exam.Applicants have 6 weeks from the day of registration to complete the Mines Supervisor Online Certification.

OTHERS: If you wish to obtain a print copy of the Code, you can purchase the Mines Supervisor Online Certification with both an online and printed copy. For the print copy, you will pay the shipping cost only. The copy will be mailed to you, and you will still have six weeks from your date of registration to complete the course.
