English Language Arts 7 is an entertaining and innovative new course from Open School BC. It has been completely rewritten and now includes rich multimedia tutorials that greatly enhance the lessons.

English Language Arts 7 consists of six modules. These can be taken in any order. Each module is accompanied by a notebook, which contains the assignments and many of the practice activities. The course addresses the prescribed learning outcomes from the Ministry of Education's English Language Arts IRP (Integrated Resource Package). This course is designed to help students learn about personal narratives, reading comprehension, technical writing, persuasive style, language of poetry, types of stories, and story elements. The lessons emphasize English language skills applied to practical and relevant activities. The activities are varied and offer choice and flexibility to teachers and students.
